New Generation Theatre (NGT) is committed to the education of serious-minded students through experience in the musical theatre arts. NGT strives to produce sophisticated, high-caliber productions using young performers and musicians looking to further their skills on stage and in the orchestra. The six-week summer intensive is a rigorous process culminating with a full-scale Broadway musical presented to the public. Program directors Sol Bloch and Justin Boccitto, who hold professional careers in the entertainment and educational communities, create a supportive, respectful environment that emphasizes responsibility, leadership and teamwork. Collectively the two have worked in television, film and Broadway theatre with students including Adam Chanler-Berat, Sean Fosse and Lady Gaga.
